August 01, 2002 - SUZUKI's 25- and 30-horsepower four-stroke motors make perfect companions for the avid waterfowl hunter - they're quiet, they don't smoke and they'll go wherever you want without a
lot of gas. More importantly, they're strong, reliable and will never, ever make fun of you
for missing an easy shot.
Their compact size and high-performance characteristics make these SUZUKI motors ideal for powering aluminum duck boats. SUZUKI's 25- and 30-horsepower four strokes are built
using a 3-cylinder, single overhead-cam powerhead, with two intakes and a single exhaust valve per cylinder for maximum power and torque from each engine revolution. Performance and efficiency
are further enhanced with triple Mikuni carburetors with accelerator pumps. These motors are
packed with innovative features, including digital CDI ignition for quick starts and instant throttle response. For durability over the long run, SUZUKI uses an automotive-type, oil-bathed timing chain with automatic tensioners. Both motors are environmentally friendly, meeting the strict 2006 federal exhaust emissions standards and earning the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Two Star,
Very-Low Emissions rating.
Both models are offered with remote control or tiller steering, to accommodate a wide variety
of boats. SUZUKI four-stroke outboards have long been a favorite with serious waterfowl hunting enthusiasts - part of the reason SUZUKI has been title sponsor of the Ducks Unlimited Outdoor Festival for three years running.
