For 2005, Suzuki Marine offers boaters a full lineup of 40 technologically advanced four-stroke models ranging from a portable 4 HP to the flagship 250 HP, the world's most powerful V6 4-stroke outboard. Included in this impressive roster are 21 models featuring advanced electronic fuel injection, making Suzuki the true "World Leader in Fuel Injected 4-Strokes."

In 2004, Suzuki introduced its first V6 4-stroke outboards (250 HP, 225 HP and 200 HP) winning the National Marine Manufacturers Association Innovation Award, along with the hearts and minds of performance-hungry boaters everywhere. Suzuki innovation, however, is not limited to owners of big boats. Suzuki uses its engineering expertise and experience in the worldwide marine, automotive and motorcycle markets to develope the most advanced, reliable and environmentally friendly outboard engines in every category.

"Our engineers have taken us from all 2-stroke to all 4-stroke technology in seven short years," said Suzuki Marine Marketing Director Larry Vandiver. "We're especially proud that along the way our 4-strokes were honored with three NMMA Innovation Awards (for the 40/50, 60/70 and new 200/225/250 HP models) from the top boating writers in the nation. It is great to be recognized not only for developing breakthrough technology, but also for engineering 4-stroke outboards that meet boaters' demands for performance, power and reliability," added Vandiver.

Suzuki Marine's 4-stroke stable includes portable one-cylinder 4 HP and 6 HP models that bring smooth performance to tenders, canoes or cartoppers. Suzuki's two-cylinder 9.9 HP and 15 HP 4-strokes deliver quiet operation and fuel efficiency for aluminum skiffs, jon boats and inflatables. Suzuki's popular three-cylinder 25 HP and 30 HP 4-strokes offer waterfowlers and fishermen features like three valves per cylinder, digital CDI ignition and a stump-pulling 597cc of displacement.

Suzuki's award-winning 40 HP and 50 HP three-cylinder motors bring computerized fuel-injected 4-stroke technology to owners of smaller boats. Features like direct ignition, dual overhead cams with four valves per cylinder and a tuned intake system put these motors way ahead of their class.

For owners of slightly larger fresh and saltwater boats, Suzuki offers its award-winning four-cylinder 60HP and 70HP fuel-injected 4-strokes. These were the first outboards to combine clean, efficient 4-stroke technology with the performance of digital sequential electronic fuel injection. They're still ahead of the pack with features like a pulse-tuned, water-cooled air intake system, transistorized ignition and idle air control that deliver smooth, reliable performance season after season.

Rounding out the line in a powerful way is Suzuki's family of 90HP, 115HP and 140HP in-line four cylinder 4-strokes. Their compact size, superior power-to- weight ratio and inspired performance have made these outboards the perfect match for everything from bass boats and walleye skiffs to bay boats, saltwater center consoles and power catamarans. With features including an offset driveshaft for improved balance, dual overhead cams with four valves per cylinder, water-cooled intake system, water-cooled fuel rail and an oil-bathed, self adjusting timing chain, these motors are the choice of performance-minded fishermen, cruisers, skiers and boating enthusiasts from coast to coast.
